BDO Certified Registered Auditors A.E. is a professional firm, primarily engaged in the provision of attestation (auditing) services in Greece, within the international network of BDO. The Firm also provides tax and general business advisory services. BDO Certified Registered Auditors A.E. has 40 partners and 160 other professionals whose services are at the disposal of our clients.

The headquarters of the Firm are located in Athens, at 81 Patission Street & Heyden Street. However, we also maintain fully operational offices in Thessaloniki (northern Greece) and Patra (western Greece).

In the year ended 31 December 2007, the professional fees generated by our Firm amounted to €15.8 million. Included in the long list of the Firm’s clients are numerous entities listed on the Athens Stock Exchange and a limited number of entities listed on other internationally recognised exchanges.  Many of our clients compile their financial statements under the International Financial Reporting Standards.  Our contribution towards the introduction of these standards in Greece was significant and so was our involvement in the drafting of Greek Auditing Standards, which are fully harmonised with the corresponding International Standards on Auditing. This contribution is widely acknowledged.

The collective knowledge and experience of our partners and staff cover a very wide spectrum of industries and extend well beyond auditing. The strength of our resources (40 partners and 160 staff) elevates us to one of the larger accounting firms operating in Greece.

As one would expect, our work in the field of authoring professional books, articles etc. is truly extensive.
